End of the Year
I feel great I have done countless blogs, I participated in the slice of life challenge and went to the writers museum. This year has been the best for me for ELA because I got the best ELA teacher in the universe, Ms Haury! I have done 71 blogs so far this year this year. I did all 31 days of heslice of life challenge, I blogged every day in March. When I went on the field trip to the writers museum it was way better than I thought it would be. Even without all those things I still have the best ELA teacher and I had a great year and I hope the same for next year.

Favorite Poem
I don’t have a favorite poem. I know there is a poet called Shell Silverstein who wrote “Runny Babit”. She also wrote “Where The Side Walk Ends”, “Falling Up”, “A Piece Mising” and “Giraffe And A Half”. My mom wrote a poem called “She Struggles” and my grandma wrote one too and it’s called “Memories Of Dad”. Other than that I have never read a poem and I barely know anything about them.
Chicago History Project
My Chicago research project is on the Willis Tower. The masterminds behind the Willis Tower design and construction were Fazlur Rahman Khan and Bruce Graham. They broke ground in 1970 and finished it in 1973. It was built so employees have more office space and once the tallest building in Chicago. With 110 story’s and1,450 feet tall you can’t have a skyline of Chicago you can’t forget the Willis Tower.

4th Quarter Goals
For this quarter I came up with one or two goals for each subject. For math my goals are to get better at time telling and probability, probability we are still leaning and I’m just not good at telling time. For ELA my goals are to get better with my hand writing and sentence creating. My goal for social studies is to get better at my presenting skills. For some reason my goal for science is to simply to stay on task more often. With these goal I will try to accomplish by the end of the year and I will continue to set goals even after.
Spring Break
Over spring break my mom, dad, brother, cosines, and I went to Wisconsin Dells. We stayed for three and a half days at the Glacier Canyon/Wilderness resort. This was the first time my three year old cosine has ever been to the Dells. While we were there we drove in go-cart races, went to the water parks 4 times, went to the new jungle gym, and had dinner and a movie every night. I went on 6 go-cart races and 1 I came in 2nd and the rest I came in 1st the 3rd race I won in the last second. All the races were intense just like all the hiking I did in the jungle gym trying to follow my cousin. This was so fun and I hope we do it again soon.

Slice of Life Challenge #31
This will be the last slice of life challenge blog post that I will do this month. Early this morning my uncle Willie surprised us by coming to our house. He flew in from Las Vegas with his new fiancé. After hanging out at our house for a while we decided to go out and eat. We went to get Puerto Rican food and we ate it at my dad’s job in the Sears tower. After we were done eating my dad gave us the tour of the place. I had a great time and I hope we do it again another time.

Slice of Life Challenge #30
On Fridays my dad, brother, and I stay up till about 11:30 pm. Today we had a dancing contest when a song came on and it was our turn that person whould dance to it. We each had two turns than I had to write this. After I’m done we might go to bed or continue playing. I hope we go to bed though because I’m tired. Next time I hope I’m a little bit more energetic.
