Slice of Life Challenge #7

Faster, faster, faster. This is the fastest I have ever roller skated. My parents just got my brother and I new roller skates. They are blue and black and have a strap that goes over the shoe. Just outside of Janua Park in a basketball/soccer/hockey court my brother and dad were playing tag while I was skating. Earlier it rained so it made everything slippery. So when I tried to stop I slipped and fell on the floor. Next time I go to that park I will go when it doesn’t rain.

Slice of Life Challenge #6

I just couldn’t figure it out. When I told Johnny O that I would make a deck of Pokémon cards to totally destroy his I didn’t think it would be this hard. So there I was in my house just sitting on the floor thinking, thinking really hard and trying to make a deck list. Deck list after deck list after deck list I finally made half of a deck list that would beat Johnny O. Even today that deck is still missing a good amount of cards. This deck will be at least $200 and there will be 3 Tapu Lele GX.

Slice of Life Challenge #5

My family’s is all about doing diy house projects. Our current diy project is to paint several rooms. And today I helped my mom and dad paint primer on the walls of the hallway. Every couple of minutes my arms got tired but I would keep going. After a while I just couldn’t go on, I was just too tired so I let my dad finsh it for me. I will continue to help my parents paint and primer the dining room, living room, mud room, and hallway.

Slice of Life Challenge #4

I saw the movie Spare Parts over the weekend and it was probably the best movie I have ever seen. This movie took place in Arizona and was about four high school students that were elillegal participating in an underwater robotics competition. All four students had struggles and were worried about being deported by ICE.  Despite all their troubles they were able to win the underwater robotics competition against colleges including MIT, Duke, and Virginia Tech. My favorite part was when the judges asked how much money they spent and the colleges said they spent thousands of dollars and the high schoolers only spent $800. This movie encourages me to know that through hard work and dedication I can reach my goals.

Slice of Life Challenge #3

A block away I started running. I saw everyone having fun and I couldn’t wait to be there too. Once I was in view everyone started to scream because I was back. It had been so long since I had been at Piper elementary school’s park and seen all my old friends that still go there. We had a great time playing catch and soccer when a fellow Heritage student arrived. I was tired walking home and I wished that every A-day Friday ended like that.

Slice of Life Challenge #2

I was just sitting on the couch waiting and waiting and then the doorbell senceed motion. But it was just a car then I hear footsteps getting louder but it was my neighbor’s grandson stomping on the sidewalk to his house. Then I hear weels I look out the window and it’s just someone skateboarding. I’m ready to give up and I totally ignored the doorbell senceed motion then the doorbell rings and trip and fall. I get up and open the door and the mailman gives me the mail and I open everything and I find a bill, bill, sales paper, then I see a whole bunch of Pokémon cards. I was shuffling through everything then I saw it I was so happy my Tapu Lele GX card came in. One of the most expensive Pokémon cards ever was in my hands, it costs $60 each.

Slice of Life Challenge #1

It was going to be the funniest thing ever. My parents were out shopping and my grandma was watching us. Then  my little brother Adrian. He took a red marker and colored a circle on his forehead and a paper towel. It looked like he was actually bleeding but he wasn’t. I found that out the hard way. He came into my room crying and I said “what’s wrong, are you ok, what am I going to do, I am going to go play video games. We both stated laughing then I told Adrian that he should do that to our parents but he said no.
