Non Fiction vs Fiction

Nonfiction informs you or tells you real life events and fiction is make-believe.  Examples of nonfiction books are biographies, books on historical events, a how to, or books that inform you about nature.   Examples of fiction books are fairytales, comic book or any book that contains monsters.  Fiction and nonfiction have some similarities.    Here are some examples: they’re both books, there they both teach teach you something, and  they can both be found in the library.  My favorite type of book to read is fiction. I like fiction because it’s more exciting and the author actually gives you detail and something to imagine.  Yes nonfiction informs you but fiction is fun and exciting to read.

Christmas Break

Over Christmas break my family and I went to Florida to visit my aunt, uncles, cousins, and great grandma.  We left  New Year’s Eve and just made it to the hotel with a little bit of time before the fireworks started.  We walked around looking for the best spot to watch the fireworks and found it on a bridge halfway to the main building and we stayed there for the fireworks display.  Couple days later my family and I went to Legoland there were two main rides there was a roller coaster called “costasorce” and another roller coaster that kind a look like a top going up and down a giant half pipe while spinning. My family when that one however I did not, I refused to go on their that. A few days later  we are counting down the days before we go home and my little brother says “I want to go to the pool!” and that’s where we went. We stayed at the pool for about two hours then, it started getting cold and we went back to the hotel.  After six hours of driving and two hours of flying we finally make it back home and go to bed at about midnight.

New Years Resolution

A New Year’s resolution is a promise or goal that a person makes for the new year. Some examples of a New Year’s resolutions people make are, to get better grades, to do better in sports, and to save more money.  A New Year’s resolution can last days, weeks, or months.  I made a New Year’s resolution to keep me from getting cavities.  Another reason that I made this New Year’s resolution is so I can be as healthy as I can in 2018. My New Year’s resolution is to stop eating candy. This will be very difficult for me because I love sour candy. This New Year’s resolution will start after my birthday and I will end it on the last day of this year.
