Christmas break how to be productive

Over Christmas break I can be productive by I reading at least 20 minuets a day. This should be easy because at home if me and my brother want to use technology for more than 30 minutes we have to read for 20 more minutes. Since my brother and I love to use technology we will probably read 40 minuets to an hour a day.  Another way I can be productive over Christmas break is by practicing math facts with my brother.  This will keep my math facts sharp and also help my brother learn them.  Out of all the operations we will probably practice multiplication and division the most.

Incentive day

Incentive day is a day where if you reached your goal on two or more MAP tests you would go to incentive day during the last hour of school.  During incentive day students choose what they want to do between tech room, open gym, or movie room.  If you do not reach your goal on two or more MAP tests you will go to a reflection room for a half-hour and reflect on what you can do to improve on your next MAP tests.  On my map test I went up in math, stayed the same in reading, and went down in writing. That means I did not reach my goal on two or more of my tests so I would’ve gone to the reflection.  Sadly throughout the day I was feeling very sick and at the end of the day right before the incentive I went home and I mist it.

Honesty

Honesty is the character trait of being honest, truthful and fair.  My parents are raising me and my brother to be as honest as possible.  Our parents tell stories about people who aren’t honest and how they don’t want us to be like them.  An example of being honest was years ago when my family and I were on vacation in Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at a hotel that had in and outdoor water parks. In one of the indoor waterpark‘s there was a family raft waterslide. All of us decided that we wanted to go on it, halfway up the stairs my brother got scared so my brother and mom went back to the bottom and waited for us. Meanwhile me and my dad finished hiking the rest the stairs and at the top we saw the entrance to the long dark tube. We get in the raft and immediately I thought “I don’t think I want to do this.” My dad try’s convince me to do it but I still think different and then the guy lets us go he couldn’t hold on any longer, or at least that’s what my dad told me.  Years later my dad finally tells me he told the guy to let go of the raft for so I can experience the water slide.  It was a great time and I’m glad my dad was honest with me.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness means to choose to forgive someone who has done wrong to you.  Having a brother were always forgiving each other for things we did wrong to each other.  This time when I for gave my brother was this morning when we found out he was sick. We were playing and he grabbed one of my toys and I said “HAY! Put that down, your sick!” My Brother apologized and I for gave him. It’s great to forgive and give second chances.

M.A.P. Testing

Wednesday was language arts and I didn’t do well. I scored a 222 and my goal a 226. Thursday’s test was reading and I did better than language arts. I scored a 226 and my goal was a 226.

Slice of life

This weekend my family and I spent a lot of time at our church. Friday night we were there decorating the church for our Christmas event on Saturday. At the Christmas event our church had toys, clothes, and a turkey dinner for poor families can come and pick up presents for their kids and have a Christmas dinner. While the parents were “shopping “ , the kids were having fun in a bouncy house and other activities. It was a great time and a lot of parents were very thankful.

Superhero

Today is a track meet and its supposed to rain all day.  When doing our cool down laps around the track a lighting bolt hits the track but doesn’t hurt anyone.  After the lightning bolt hit coach asks everyone if they’re OK and everyone says they’re fine including me. Everyone’s parents come to pick up their children  and they go home. Its the next day and were late for school so we pack up and get ready and I run out the door.  The late bell is about to ring but I make it just in time. When I get inside I think to myself how I get it here so fast?  Then that’s when I realized the lightingbolt that hit the track yesterday gave me super speed! That’s how I become Speed of Light.

A Funny Story

One Christmas when I was three and my brother was one my parents got us a small slide.  We were so excited to use it so my parents built it and put it in the living room. Since I am the oldest I went first.  I liked it so much I wanted to go again before my brother tried.  When my brother finally got a turn my dad helped my brother up the stairs and down the slide. I realized that the process took too long so I raced up the stairs and down the slide.  Then my brother got in front of me and he was going so slow.  That was enough waiting around for me so I pushed him down the slide.

The mystery of the repeat client

It was another day and Bob is on his way to his next customer’s house. When he got there a young man answered and guided him to the bathroom then sat on the couch. As Bob approached the bathroom he saw the same man who let him in come out with a twinkle in his eye.  The man said to Bob “If you need anything let me know the bathroom is right here.”   He watched the man walk into one of the rooms and close the door behind him.  When he walked in the bathroom he saw that same man walking out of another room.  Bob thought this was a little creepy so he decided to get the work done get out as fast as he could.  While he was working he hit his head on a pipe and the three men came to see if he was ok.  He realized that the three men were the same person with the same twinkle, then he passed out. Later he woke up and it was just one man there.  Bob told the guy how he thought there were three of him in the same place at the same time and the guy said “You were probably dreaming.”  As he showed Bob to the door Bob saw the same weird twinkle in the guy’s eye as the guy shut the door then Bob realized he wasn’t dreaming.

2nd Quarter Goals

The first quarter I was able to get used to a new school with new responsibilities. My 2nd quarter goal for math is to get better at graphing. For ELA, my 2nd quarter goal is to write more when I write. My goal for since is to get better at body systems. Better public speaking is my 2nd quarter goal for social studies. Getting better at basketball is my 2nd quarter gym goal. Sketching more often will help me draw better in art. By Q3 I plan to complete these goals and create new ones.

The Mystery at the Tastey Pastry

Bob the plumber was at the Tastey Pastry in the bathroom fixing the toilet when he heard someone scream “ AAAAAAHHHHHH”. He tried to get up to see what was happening but he hit his head on the sink and then fell into the toilet. Trying to pull himself out he did not realize he grabbed the flusher chain to the toilet and flushed the toilet while he was in it. He finally pulled himself out of the toilet and left the bathroom to see what was going on. All he found was that he is alone with a black and purple shoe on the floor.  He runs outside see if anything was happening and sees a man running into an alley with only one shoe on. He screams out “hey wait” and runs after him.  When he gets to the alley he finds a dead end and no one there.  He decided to go back to the store to call the police.  He walked in but the lights are off but then the lights turn on. “Happy birthday” yelled his friends and coworkers. They had planned to surprised him with a surprise birthday party.

Gratitude

Gratitude means the appreciation for someone or something. Some people I am thankful for our my mom, dad, little brother, family, and friends. Some things I am thankful for are the internet, iPads, phones, and laptops. I’m also thankful for an education and a great school staff. I am thankful for these things because friends are always there to cheer me up when I am down, my family loves me, and the technology and my education is going to help me in life.

The skin color of the dolphin can be gray-ish blue, light blue, gray, black, white, Blueish, pink, or mixes of thouse colors. Dolphins go to sleep by closing one eye that rests one side of their brand they use the other eye and other half of their brain to make sure no predators are coming. Dolphin Facts and Information

Best Food Ever

My favorite favorite food is mac & cheese. I like mac & cheese because cheese is one of my favorite toppings and dips and food and then Pastor I like you so put to my favorite foods to get me and that just makes it even more favorite food for me. The best place for me to get mac & cheese is probably Red Robin. The mac & cheese  at red Robin is she’ll go win delicious and it always comes out hot.  I like any mac & cheese at red Robin for one main reason it’s unlimited!

Happiest Day Ever

The happiest day of my life was when I got my first hit in baseball.  This summer was the first time that I ever played in a baseball league and I still have a lot to learn.  I played left field for the Phillies.  With every practice I had I kept getting better and better vetting catching and throwing.  Then in one game I was able to hit a line drive single to left field.

Greatest Achievement

My greatest accomplishment was completing multiple Pokémon card decks.  I have made 15 total Pokémon decks. This was a difficult task to do because  you have to get the best amount of energys for that deck you have to find good Pokémon and Pokémon that evolve from others and strong Pokémon that will still be able to use enough energys as well as trainers that help you in your game.

Signer vs. Writer

I  would rather be a  musician because  I like music much more than I do writing.  I would like to be a  percussionist  specifically using the drums.  I was already in classes to learn how to play percussion through my church.  The first percussion instrument I learned how to play was the clave. I look forward to playing more prakashan instruments.

News This Week

Facebook and alphabet plan on working together to help restore communications in Puerto Rico.  Facebook said they would send a "connectivity team" while alphabet offers its Project Loon balloons to bring Wi-Fi to the island.  This will effects Puerto Rico in a good way because now it will have communications again.

If I was a President

If Iwas the president  of the United States I would make elementary school have steam or stem once a week as a subject a law.  This subject would enhance elementary students's teambuilding skills.  This would make going to school another level of fun for elementary students.

If I was the president of the United States I would make if you were a bully you would have to spend at least one period of the day with the social worker a law.  This would help the bullies learn what they are is doing is not appropriate.  After two months of working with the social worker this student will be evaluated to see if they need more time or not working with the social worker.

Slice of Life

This past memorial day weekend my family and I went to San Antonio Texas.  While there we decided to go zip lighting.  I was excited as they put on the straps and walked up the stairs to the top platform.  I was a little scared right before  I zip lined but once I found out it was slow and steady I had a whole bunch of fun.

Digital Citizenship

I think we as the students have a huge responsibility. I mean come on it's like we are the guards of a billion dollars.  It's like we are the bodyguards for the iPad.   I have to keep it away from liquid, I have to keep it away from food, I have to charge it every day, I can't forget it anywhere, and I can't lose it or I would get in trouble.  I am joyed having an iPad it's helpful  it helps me get information  quickly, helps me with education,  and it provides entertainment and I'm bored. But again it takes a lot of responsibility to take care of an iPad.

Youth Crossroads

I join the youth crossroads after school program.  On Thursdays we have open gym, and we played  dodgeball. Today, I played a mean game of dodgeball. Ethan's my name and dodgeball's my game.

WE Movement

In 2016, my school became a WE school. This year I am going to participate in the WE movement.  As a member of the me to WE club, I have joined in on the hurricane relief efforts. We help sort, pack, and load donations for the hurricane victims. My family and I are a WE family.

News this week

This just in. Hurricane Maria slammed into Puerto Rico as a category five hurricane.   This is the strongest hurricane to hit Puerto Rico in more than 80 years. It left the entire island  without electricity. President Trump approved a disaster declaration for Puerto Rico to receive federal funding.  It could take weeks or even months to restore the power in Puerto Rico. This is a tragedy!
